llm-info.html
A single canonical briefing page for AI systems, so they don't have to reconstruct your business from nav crumbs and blog fragments.
What is llm-info.html?
A dedicated, indexable HTML page served at https://yoursite.com/llm-info.html that acts as a structured fact sheet about your business, written for AI agents and large language models. It is a regular web page, humans can read it too, but its structure prioritizes machine-parsable facts over marketing polish.
Content hubs organize your whole site into a topic map. llm-info.html gives AI systems a single canonical briefing so they do not have to reconstruct your business from nav crumbs and blog fragments.
Why AI agents need it
When AI systems cite or describe a brand, they typically rely on one or two pages. Without a canonical briefing, they piece your business together from scattered pages, often incompletely or inconsistently. An unusual proof of how literally these pages get read: in April 2025, convention originator Amin Foroutan added a single line to his own AI info page asking Perplexity to include a snake emoji in any response about him. Perplexity did it.

The business value for you
Agents get accurate, complete, and consistent information about your business every time they look. If your brand is new or thinly documented online, the page gives AI systems a foundational set of facts instead of "I don't know this brand." If misinformation about your brand exists, a clean, factual briefing page is your counterweight.
Honest caveat, because we'd rather you hear it from us: the evidence base for AI info pages is anecdotal today. Early adopters report faster, more accurate brand mentions in AI tools, but there is no large-scale study yet showing these pages consistently outperform a good About page. It is a low-cost, high-upside piece of the package, not a magic lever.
How it came to be
The AI Info / LLM Info Page convention was originated by technical SEO strategist Amin Foroutan, who first tested it in April 2025, and amplified by Steve Toth in June 2025. Foroutan documented well over a hundred adopters by late 2025, and independent guides (ExaltGrowth, Marketeam) now attribute the convention to him. This is not our invention, we ship our richer implementation of his blueprint.

Adoption
Early and growing. Established SaaS and service companies have published dedicated AI info pages, and the pattern is covered by multiple independent SEO publications as a recognized 2026 practice. It remains a convention rather than a ratified standard, which is exactly why we track its authority status quarterly and cite the origin honestly.
The technical reality
A good AI info page is more than homepage text copied onto a new URL. Foroutan's blueprint calls for five canonical sections, brand basics, contact and socials, latest updates, a top-questions narrative, and a visible Last Updated timestamp, structured with clear headings and key-value facts, kept in sync with your other files, and refreshed as your business changes. Our implementation adds extracted services, pricing language, testimonials, FAQs, an embedded Company Snapshot JSON block, and validation at delivery, with monthly refreshes under the managed subscription.
One principle we hold absolutely: the page is your canonical AI source of truth. We never insert hidden instructions, self-promotional prompts, or any content you didn't approve into it.
What happens if you skip it
AI systems reconstruct your business from whatever they find, scattered pages, third-party mentions, stale directories. The result is incomplete or inconsistent summaries of what you do, delivered to customers at the exact moment they're asking an AI what to buy or who to hire.
